“I’m not cargo,” Harry spits out back at her, defensive, chin held up high. Regulus watches as his small hands grab hold of a knife as long as his forearm, pointing it downward but still present, like if Regulus and Pandora give him a reason he’d slaughter them. Jesus, the kid is eleven.
“He’s the cargo, yeah.” James says, ignoring Harry’s spluttering protests.

Bruce sprints over. Puts his arms around Jason, as tight as he can. He’s warm. And his gloves are all bloody. Covered in Joker’s blood. Jason’s blood.
“I just want my dad,” Jason says, panicking. He’s not dying. He feels like he’s dying. This blood loss is nothing new. “I can’t do it again. Please. Please get him.”
“Jason, you’re going to be fine,” Bruce says. “I’m so sorry.”

The garden isn't pretty. For a start, it's got too many books in it to be a proper garden. Adam can't help thinking it's very unfair, to show books where they came from and trees where they may end up, removed from nature. It's just a way for all parties to feel aggrieved.

Damian’s eyes were burning. “Yes, your parents, and Nightwing’s parents, and Hood’s parents, and even Red Robin’s parents, they all had to die so you could put on the cape. Is that what you’re telling me? Only parents die?”
“Robin,” Father started.
“I know, I know, you weren’t really dead,” Damian snapped. “And Mother has disowned me, so she might be safe from the curse. However, between you and Mother, the first adult to ever accept me and raise me and love me was Grayson, so he was the parent who had to die for me. So he can’t come back, because that’s the rule, right? That’s the rule?”
