Summary
Things are going well for Michael and the boys, at least until the corpses of murdered girls start popping up around Santa Carla, drawing unwanted attention. Not ideal when you're usually the ones dropping bodies.
When the sister of one of Sam's best friends goes missing, presumably abducted by this new serial killer, he gathers his courage and asks Michael to help find her before its too late. The clock is ticking, and Sam's desperate, but he may wind up regretting calling in this favor.

Summary
John Winchester tracks down a case to work on the California coast. Rather than stick his kids in a hotel, he leaves them with an acquaintance of his: an old vampire hunter affectionately known as "Emerslayer." To Sam and Michael Emerson, "Grandpa."
Sam and Dean make the most of this once-in-a-blue-moon opportunity to settle down for a bit and have some fun.
For Sam, that means meeting the Frog brothers with Sam Emerson and talking comics and hunting.
For Dean, that means hesitantly allowing himself to let loose with some heavy-metal-reject bikers he meets on the boardwalk.
All the while, John races to track down whatever it is that's leaving wrecks of bodies en-masse in the surrounding hub of cities before they can do any more damage...

The water hits him in the face as he's shoved away and Michael manages to shove himself to his knees before the next wave comes. Not that it really matters at this point. It's too early for him to be affected by water but David's blood is in his veins and he's not sure he could drown if he tried. He half expects David to be gone. The other half of him expects David to be laughing.
He's not expecting the fear.
Michael's borrowed time runs out. David is there.

Summary
When David goes to get up Michael manages to hook his ankle. There's a split second where he thinks he's done something but David turns and pins him to the table. Michael is so surprised he gasps, the movement making the white t-shirt he still favors so much ride up. David tilts his head. It feels like a lifetime ago when Michael was human and desperate. When he drank that laced wine.
"Do you ever think about it?" David says, "how you could have walked away?"
Michael shakes his head.
"Really?" David smiles, "I would have let you go, Michael."
Set in the future, David's past leads to a fight but Michael is ready.
