  Okay, so. There are a lot of things Doll Lyndon is grateful for. Her cousin James Potter (but it depends when you ask). His parents. His friends, even if they have the stupidest nicknames. Her own friends, Maggie and Julia. Her niece, and her brother. The chance to go to Hogwarts, which she knows some witches still aren't getting, even in the 1970s. Her ability to top the class in Charms and Arithmancy.

  However, there are things she's not so grateful for. Shitty parents. The brewing war. Slytherins bullying first-year kids. Remus Lupin's miserably quiet, extremely obvious crush on her. The deep-seated, never-acknowledged fact that she's queer. The even-deeper-seated, the never-ever-acknowledged fact that she's in love with her best friend.
