Summary
When Lady Lena challenges Princess Kara for the throne of Krypton they’re both shocked to discover they’ve met before, and more shocked to discover there’s a requirement for a princess to be “bound in marriage” to take the throne.
As parliament is suspended until a new monarch is crowned the law cannot be changed. With the church opposed to the union of two women they’re forced to find husbands to ensure at least one of them gets crowned Queen before the deadline is up.
Shenanigans ensue as they try to convince Krypton they’re in love with their future husbands while falling deeper in love with each other.TW:

“Guy yet? No.” Emma rushed, almost embarrassed. It was mostly true anyways. She really hadn’t ever put much effort into dating. It was just never a big priority for her. She always justified it by saying she was too focused on school or too young for anything serious. But she really hadn’t ever met a man she wanted to pursue.
