What stares back at him through the mirror is unrecognisable. The usual eyes of red and those of green, the pointed smirk, the nervous smile, poof. No more. Instead, a familiar stranger with stolen eyes and features he should never have come into possession of, all of who he once was rolled into one concoction of a human being. A collision of parts that are never meant to cross over.
He stifles a scream, or at least, does his best to, the sound still tearing raw through his throat.

He felt as though any minute he’d be outed and condemned.
Condemned for taking a well respected holy man in the making and pressing him to the wall of the coat-room just outside of the sanctuary,
Condemned for running his hands up Katsuki’s thin waist and squeezing it firmly between his palms like that of Eve reaching for the tree wound by the serpent.
Condemned for pressing their lips together as the choir sang their beginning hymnal just outside the door that early morning; tasting the forbidden fruit that is his attraction for men. For this man.--
Izuku and Katsuki have avoided labeling their relationship, avoiding even calling it as such.
They partake in sin. They repent.

When Merlin had first arrived in Camelot, it had been a shock in many ways. The first thing that struck him, even as he first ventured through the lower town on that very first week, was how no one seemed to touch. In Camelot, people existed separate from each other, kept apart by a complex web of social conventions and class divisions. In Ealdor, by contrast, human contact was an important resource, not to be taken for granted.
The second thing that struck Merlin on that first week in Camelot had been the Crown Prince. With a mace. This had taught Merlin his second lesson about what living in Camelot would be like. Namely, that it would be painful.
