Summary
“Tony is a fine dame.” he says, completely unprompted, like an insane person.
Tony freezes, her stomach swooping hard. One moment her blood runs cold, the next a shot of adrenaline is chasing after it.
She tries not to swallow her own heart beat.
"What?" Iron Man asks, because what the hell is he supposed to say to that.
Steve glances at him. Pauses. Shifts. Seems to sense he's done something wrong, maybe?
"Sorry." Steve says, but it lacks sincerity–not because he isn't sincere, but because he doesn't know what he should be sorry for. He's more embarrassed than anything. Tony latches onto that, files it away like she always does for safe keeping. There are certain expressions she likes to revisit.
For Science.
"Should I not have said that?" Steve asks, and Iron Man lets out a sound that seems like a laugh.
"No. I just don't know what she'd think of you calling her that."

A thick lump threatened to swell in Lex’s throat and he swallowed it down.
“You wouldn’t believe this, Clark,” he said, beginning a circuit around the terrace garden, “Even if you were here to see it. For as long as my father has been dead, it's never stopped him from meddling in my life.”
The next words were hard to say out loud, even to someone who wasn’t listening.
“We have a child. A son, to be exact. Your DNA combined with mine.”

Summary
After the fall of the twin towers a resurgence of patriotism (plus a glut of money from new defense contracts) result in Howard Stark’s expedition finding Captain America in the ice. He throws a party to celebrate. Anyone who is anyone in the industry is there.
Teenager Tony Stark couldn’t care less. He has other, bigger problems on his mind. Like his impending mating/sale to family friend Obadiah Stane “for the good of the company”. For starters, the man is at least 40 years older than him and is seriously old school- he insists on a purity clause in the marriage contract and everything. As an omega, Tony theoretically has rights, but laws are just fees for doing what you want when you’re rich enough, a fact his father loves to point out.
He has maybe 10 minutes of freedom before people realize that he’s missing and desperate times call for desperate measures- like fucking the Captain America impersonator he just met on the balcony.

Derek smiled back at the Sheriff, self-assured and showing off just a few too many teeth to look strictly human.
“Alright. Let me see if I’ve got this straight,” Noah began, rubbing his forehead as he prayed for strength. “You want me to allow a teenaged boy to sleep directly across the hall from my teenaged daughter with zero parental supervision while I’m pulling overnight shifts?”
“Daaaad!” Stiles groaned. “It’s still Derek!”
