Summary
Ilya came out to Irina when he was 14, by the time he was 15 she decided she wanted a safer and better life for her son outside of Russia. The Vetrova family friends in Ottowa agreed to take Ilya in when he turned 16 and that was when Ilya joined his childhood best friend Svetlana in a Canadian high school.
How will Ilya navigate joining a new circle of friends and moving onto college when his eyes won’t move from those beautiful freckles and those piercing brown doe eyes that he sees from across the locker room?
Time will tell and be a challenge that Ilya will more than happily take on….
(Or: High School/College Au where Ilya notices Shane his first day of hockey practice in high school and a friendship that crumbles soon after moves on to a University house share that takes others by surprise and some others praying by the luck of fate)
