Dr Veritas Ratio arrives precisely five minutes early, just as Aventurine expected. Aventurine keeps him waiting for ten minutes after that, just as he's certain Ratio would have expected.
"Gambler," Ratio says curtly, once Aventurine finally tells his assistant to let Ratio in. "You - what are you doing."
Ah, of course he would realise immediately. Then again, Aventurine's hardly hiding it - Skott would be quite clearly visible under his desk from the other side. He smirks.
"Just indulging in some workplace perks, Doctor," he says.
