Summary
He finally notices the body laying prone near his feet, the strange blue-eyed Alpha kneeling next to it. The body is sprawled across the path, the Alpha halfway on the path, halfway covered by the trees next to him. The Alpha’s pretty eyes are wide in surprise and Dean doesn’t have time to even think as words break through his mouth.
“The fuck? Couldn’t have done this away from I don’t know, the path that people walk on?”
Jesus fuck. Dean might have a death wish he’s realizing as he notices the Alpha holding a fucking butcher knife in his right hand, raised over the again, fucking body at his feet. Blood is dripping from the blade and even still Dean isn’t afraid.

It didn’t sound like something Cas would say—nor did the child-like scrawl it was written in look like he imagined Cas’s handwriting. But how could it possibly be anybody else?
