Clark was pretty sure Bruce knew what he meant and was being difficult, but he didn’t really mind. He’d learned that being difficult was some sort of enrichment for Bruce, and Clark liked to indulge him when he had the energy. "When people treat you like you're clueless."
"I put a lot of work into looking clueless," Bruce said wryly. "I should take it as a complement. Your persona, has it been galling you lately?"
Clark frowned. "It's not the same. No one here treats me like an idiot—except for Lois, but that's how she shows affection."
They had arrived at Bruce's car. Bruce stopped in front of it and looked at Clark with a thoughtful expression. "I’m not talking about Clark Kent." -

“Hinata,” Tobio interjected, a little amused by Hinata’s ignorance, but too embarrassed to gloat about how dumb he was being. “Do you think I haven’t had sex since 2015?”
“What? You’re saying you have and I didn’t notice?”
“It doesn’t normally hurt, you know,” Tobio said.
Hinata was somehow getting even redder. “Oh.”
“It’s… nice of you to be concerned? I guess? But my sex life is fine. And also I did hook up last Olympics.”
“Who?”
"It was Miya.”
Hinata sat up in his seat. “Which one?”
“Atsumu. That’s a stupid question.” Only one of the Miyas was still in the sport, much less on the national team.
“My setter? On my team? Who I play with every day? You slept with my setter, Kageyama?” Hinata’s voice was getting so shrill it was nearly inaudible.
“Stop being dramatic. He wasn’t your setter at the time,” Kageyama pointed out reasonably. “Besides, what do you even have to be all possessive about? It’s not like you were gonna sleep with him.”
“Oh my god, that’s so not the point,” Hinata groaned.Series

Summary
The air felt lighter in Tobio’s lungs. He liked the sound of Hinata’s anger almost as much as he liked the crack of a ball hitting the floor. He was terrified of seeing it replaced by disappointment. He should say something. He should tell him. He couldn’t find a way to tell him. He was almost as bad at words as he was at friends.
Tobio hit his jump serve with all the force he could muster. Unsurprisingly, Hinata dodged a ball to the face at the last second and fell to the side. The redhead looked down at his hand, then up at Tobio.
He understood, right? No going easy on you. No avoiding you. I am coming at you with everything I’ve got.In a universe where soulmates embody an ideal, Hinata and Kageyama are having a hard time figuring theirs out. It's definitely not “friendliness” or “compassion” or whatever. Which ideal is it when you hate each other's guts? — A story where Hinata and Kageyama are bound together by some sort of mystical force, but continue being very much Themselves.

“I need to ask you a favor,” Izuku said into the collar of Hitoshi’s uniform.
“Sure.”
“Meet with Todoroki.”
“Okay,” Hitoshi said easily. If Izuku thought he should, then he would. That didn’t mean he wouldn’t have questions, though. “Please tell me you are not trying to rope Todoroki, who you just met two days ago, into our pack.”
Izuku hesitated. “No, this isn’t about getting him into our pack.”
“I don’t like that it took you a second to decide that,” Hitoshi said, only half joking.
“I’m not pulling him into our pack,” Izuku clarified, lifting his head up. “Just… around our pack.”
Hitoshi narrowed his eyes. “How’d you get covered in his scent?”
“He was crying on my shirt.”
“Okay,” Hitoshi said slowly, mind whirring. “Of all the possible answers, I think that would’ve been my last guess.”Series

Satoru makes some bastardization of a sound, half between a laugh and a cough. “...Whoops?”
“I,” Suguru grits, pinching two fingers together, “am this close to mass murder.” He’s joking. Probably.

Summary
Tobio braced himself and stood, gathering Hinata’s warm body close. Hinata’s weight settled against him, strengthening the impression he always had at these times: that he was collecting a part of himself, severed by some weird circumstance. In these moments he couldn’t help feeling that Hinata belonged to him, and as long as he didn’t talk about the impression out loud it harmed no one. As it was Hinata mumbled a little, curling into him the way he’d anticipated.
Without a word he carried Hinata to Hinata’s cluttered bedroom and laid him in bed, wrestling blankets out from under him to cover him with. Hinata woke, then, a little, but only to blink at him sleepily and mumble something that sounded like thanks. He turned away, and Tobio returned to his own bedroom, turning off all the lights on the way. That restlessness from earlier threatened to rise up and strangle him.
Living with Hinata was nice—but only most of the time. Only when he didn’t feel like this.
