Summary

Summary
Red Team couldn't be trusted with anything. That's probably why Carolina sent them on a relatively easy mission. So when they return in shambles, Lopez missing and Simmons limp in Grif's arms, she was not surprised.
Simmons does not wake up quite right. He's not himself. And while everyone must sort out how to grieve for a man who is still alive, what they must do in light of Simmons' new muddled personality, Simmons needs to figure out why he named himself 'Dick'.

Or: A look into what I thought happened between seasons with the season 1 kids becoming members of D.A.D.D.I.E.S, which I then built on and thought was really fun so now I'm writing this whole fic to go into what could have been(if the series didn't make some things in the fic not canon).
Even more specifically: The curse does break, eventually. But only when one party's out of the equation, and Lark finds himself left in the ruins.
