Natasha was still pissed at the man who broke his heart, T’Challa tried to distract him with different hobbies, Carol was on her fifth “let me beat him up” offer, Rhodes had taken him to several of his richer friend’s parties, Joaquin sent numerous videos a day to cheer him up. They knew he was doing better, his familiar glow had returned to his face brighter than it had been during almost the entirety of the relationship, but they worried. At the beginning, his biggest fear was to lose a friend — his best friend. At the end, he felt guilty with the relief that washed over him.
