Summary
A soul is a hardy thing. A lot of people say they're fragile, easy to break, and more glass-like than anything. If that was true, then there was no logical reason why Ren and Martyn would keep finding each other. If that was true, things like death games, dangerous jobs, and even your run of the mill magic accidents that definitely didn't have anything to do with how long you did or didn't stir this potion or that surely would have damaged them. It isn't though, so no matter how many times they wake up somewhere new, there is always something familiar waiting for them. Really, the question is just if they'll figure it out or not.

Summary
It was probably not a smart thing to backtalk a faerie king– one who could very well be one of the Archfey, especially powerful overlords of the Feywild. But Martyn wasn’t thinking correctly. For one, he was exhausted after getting shoved through a gate to the Feywild, chased through the woods, and arrested by faeries for no good reason, so his judgment wasn’t quite in check.
Mercifully, the king—Ren, wasn’t that his name?—didn’t look angry. He raised a brow and his lips twitched into a smile. He just looked curious.
“What can I call you?” he asked.

TL;DR - Martyn is a warlock mercenary who stumbles through a gate to the Plane of Faerie, and accidentally indebts himself to the local Archfey lord, King Ren. Shenanigans ensue.Series

Summary
Martyn simply doesn't think before he moves, doesn't need to. Ren' ears are pricked and alert, but his head hasn't even begun to turn, so there's no time. Later — if there is one — Martyn won't know how he moved so fast. All he knows — all he needs to know — is that his king is in danger, so he shoulders a bewildered Ren aside and steps in front of him, arms thrown out to shield his liege.
The crossbow bolt meant for the king punches a hole into Martyn just as easily as anyone else, lodging there, and Martyn's attempt at shouting protect the king is cut off into a gasping wheeze, all the air forced out of him at the moment of impact. Martyn loses his feet, unable to keep himself up and sagging backwards against Ren. Ren, for his part, cries out, grabbing Martyn under the arms.

Summary
Martyn was born to serve his King, devoting his life as a general in a never ending war for power. Death put a complicated wrench in that, though, especially when he reemerged from the sea as a newly minted god. Now, everything he knew has been flipped on its head and the man he once took orders from is forced to listen to whatever Martyn commands.
He’s learned to accept this new existence over the past several thousand years. However, a couple misplaced words from a man hailing from a different world are enough to make Ren reconsider whatever flimsy balance they’ve found.

Summary
She slept fitfully, desperate to wake but never quite managing to claw her way back to consciousness. Time passed slowly yet seemed to only rush by her, slipping through her fingers as she drifted in that haze between sleep and waking.
When she finally woke properly, Pearl was alone.

In one world, Pearl is freed from her cage after she is forced to sever her bond with Scott in an effort to save them both.
In another, she is freed from one cage only to be find herself trapped in another she thought she had escaped long ago.
Scott and Pearls bond may still be intact, but as they meet again years after Pearl ran away, they find their relationship is still in tatters and fixing it is not quite as simple as opening their cages.
