“Yes.” Kris pressed her hands against their chest. They smiled in a way that failed to be reassuring. Each desperate breath shuddering through their lungs confirmed everything Susie didn't want to know. “S’fine. It’s okay.”
Kris burned like a charred pan straight out of the oven, or an oil fire stoked by liquor. Susie reeled away. “You—you were trying to set me up,” Susie accused, trying to edge words around the chasm opening in her gut. “You were trying to get me to hit you.”
Kris wants Susie to hurt them. They need her to hurt them. Susie isn't as on board with the idea as they are.

'Thank you for today. I’m really happy to see you.' He murmured in a whispery tone, letting Crow in on one of his heart's secrets.
The strands of Rean’s hair were soft as they tickled Crow’s cheek, and he could feel the touch of Rean’s nose and the ghost of his breath against his neck. Crow’s mind whited out as he fought the almost instinctual urge to run his hand through his hair, and his pulse quickened to worrying degrees. In antithesis to the accelerated beating of his heart, cold sweat ran down his spine as he stood bound in place, arms hanging limply to his sides, not daring to hug Rean in return."
Or, Crow panics over possibly having a crush on Rean and handles it very intelligently.

Akira snorts, feels the tension fade, and smiles for it. He leans against the doorway and tips his head to the side. It’s almost coy, and he knows Akechi can feel the confidence bubbling back up, because the guy’s brows pinch in consternation as he resists looking back over at Akira directly.
“Are you replacing Morgana?” Akira asks and delights when Akechi’s shoulders stiffen. “You know, he’s always telling me to sleep and all. But if you’re really going to commit to the bit, you should probably sleep on my chest.”
Akechi’s tie is unceremoniously chucked at a laughing Akira.
“Goodnight, Kurusu,” Akechi grounds out as Akira ducks out of the room.
In which Akechi Goro takes refuge in Akira's hometown after the events of the game. Or, Akechi learns how to live in the country, do dishes, and open his heart to someone for the first time.
