Matt’s grin is beaming. “I can always count on you, Foggy.”
“What can I say?” Foggy says, a smile in his own voice. Matt’s hand comes up to cradle his blood-slick jaw. “I’ll serve anyone.” Matt leans in, nosing into a kiss. It has to taste like copper, but he doesn’t seem to care, kissing down to his lips, smiling the whole way. “And I mean anyone.”
“And to anyone,” Matt adds, and Foggy snorts a laugh just as Matt guides him into a proper kiss, soft and slow, the strangest and sweetest moment they could possibly be having right now.
for a fortnight of horrors, day fourteen: free space and “try and scare me.”

Summary
This was bound to happen. This was bound to happen, and Matt knew it was bound to happen. Neither of them was careful enough; if it wasn’t Matt getting them involved in a dangerous case, it was Daredevil crossing a line that got Foggy into a risky situation. Matt was always going to be the reason Foggy got hurt. It was just a matter of time, and now their time was up, and Foggy was gone.

Matt focused his senses towards Foggy but found nothing unexpected. Just...Foggy, surrounded by stacks of books and papers as he researched precedents for one of the clients they were coaching whose trial was coming up soon. Familiar Foggy, whom he knew intimately (despite never being intimate in that way with him) and who had never wanted any sort of steeped plant matter that wasn't coffee before in all their years of friendship.

Matt rasps, “I’m supposed to believe that?”
“Believe what you want,” Stick replies with a shrug. “But let go of those soft little feelings and you might actually survive.”
Matt feels like his chest is tearing open. Stick says it as if it is so simple to stop loving Foggy – as if stopping wasn’t just the same as dying anyway.

Foggy wouldn't say he was the creator of fucking or anything. But he did have his slut era, and gets it on plenty well despite his Theo's theorizing otherwise.
Besides, Foggy's really good at arm wrestling, Matt's an incredible ring-side pep-talker, and they're both intensely invested in upholding Foggy's esteem and taking his slanderous brother down.
And having a revelation or something between being giant dorks is just another plus.
