“I'm not going to leave you,” Jake reassured, voice soft and barely above a whisper. Heeseung let out a breath he was hardly aware he was holding. They fell silent— again. As though they haven't been quiet the entire time.
After a while, Heeseung spoke up. “What if I am the one slipping away?”
“You're not. You're here, with me. And I'm not going to leave you,” Jake left a peck by the side of the other's lip. “Do you feel far away from me?”
Heeseung nodded.
Jake smiled.

Heeseung nodded, again.
