    Summary

Nanami doesn’t see him, but Gojo’s hand reaches out for him nonetheless. Muscle memory betrays the fact that all he wants is to hold Nanami, to comfort him, but he pulls away just as Gojo’s fingertips brush his quivering palm.

Shaking hands and brown eyes devoid of tears finally look at him, truly seeing him for what must be the first time that night. His lips are pulled into a tight line—thin and solitary and pressed firmly shut. Gojo remembers pressing their lips together, kissing the irritation off his face when Gojo had pestered him too much. Where had that display of care gotten him? Where were they now in relation to each other? Standing in their shared kitchen during an early morning confrontation, begging him to stay as he begs Gojo to let him go.

It feels as if there’s an infinity between them and Gojo, for the first time in his life, mourns the guard he’s kept up for so long.

    Summary

Sokka looks beautiful when bathed in neon. Dim signs in bright colors sit far above them, illuminating the largely forgotten gas station that Zuko had slowly become familiar with. There’s a highway nearby and despite the late hour, he can hear what sounds like an abundance of cars speeding past the off ramp.

For some reason, an outing with Sokka always ends here.

    Summary

There’s a tickle in Mike’s throat and pain in his lungs. There’s been there for quite a while, so long that he’d already forgotten what it felt like without the petals clogging up his lungs. Mike watches Will, so unreadable, so unreachable. No one had told him that falling in love would hurt so much.

It’s silly, he tells himself. Childish. Dumb. Foolish. First love, a deadly fate.

    Summary

It’s 10:48 pm on a Thursday in December when someone chucks a rock at the window of Zuko’s childhood bedroom, effectively shattering the glass and pulling him out of his own spiraling thoughts. He lets his phone fall out of his hand and peers out to the rest of his room, taking in the heavy-looking rock and the small shards of glass littering the floor. Curious, Zuko skirts around the mess and pokes his head out the window.

Sokka stands just below it, somehow looking picture-perfect with a grocery bag in one hand and a second rock in the other. He smiles up at Zuko wearily, but years of knowing him tells Zuko it’s genuine all the same.

Life and Death have never really understood certain aspects of each other's nature. It has always been this way.

    Summary

Oikawa Tooru is a literature and film studies professor in Paris, France. He can't remember his life before it, but he knows he grew up in Japan with his late father, mother, and sister. He played volleyball and had friends that are now nothing but featureless silhouettes and unremembered names.

Iwaizumi Hajime is an athletic trainer for the Japanese national volleyball team. His best friend, who he had known all his life, moved away from Miyagi for unknown reasons just before his 18th birthday. Every day, Iwaizumi tries and tries to figure out where he's gone, but people are hard to track and even harder to follow.

Following a brutal accident that took his father and his memory, Oikawa Tooru's entire life (not that he could remember it) was uprooted by his mother. Seven years later, he's still trying to pick up the pieces and put them back together.
