Summary
Months after the end of the war, Hermione Granger quietly disappeared from the wizarding world. Many speculated on where she went or why, but no one would say, her friends quiet on the matter.
Draco Malfoy, after spending five years in Azkaban, struggles to acclimate and return to the way things once were or should have been. After a while, he starts to drift, and soon he too disappears from the wizarding world.
Ten years after the war ends, the Wizangamot announces the consideration a new law that would impact the wizarding community as a whole. Tasked by the Minister to track down those missing, Harry Potter searches and finds his old friend, Hermione. What he did not anticipate, was finding her happily married to their once-enemy.
Forced to return to the world that they left, Draco and Hermione emerge from their solitude and reclaim the lives they left behind. Standing strong together, they come with a vengeance, taking the community by storm and fighting to make it a world worth being a part of.

Summary
Hermione Granger is a muggle doctoral student studying politics at Oxford. On a day full of minor, but rather mundane, inconveniences and typical pondering of a doctoral researcher she is exposed to magic for the first time via apparition and subsequent abduction. Unbeknownst to her, there is a magical world that, right in the United Kingdom, had just experienced a war so devastating and a plague so brutal that nearly all witches were either dead or infertile. The Ministry of Magic and all of its internal departments had concluded that the only path for survival was to introduce “non-magical persons sparingly so as not to cause alarm”. This translated into groups of well-off men, with the means to achieve it, were banded together to find a muggle who would not be missed, and make her their wife, and the mother of their children, to save the Wizarding World. By any means necessary.
