Summary
It wasn't uncommon for Dottore to experiment on children. Most of them would cower at the mere sight of him, their fear apparent with every trembling breath. But, there was one boy who was different. Rather than cry, he glared at Dottore with sheer hatred, defiant even when he was trapped in a cage.
That intrigued Dottore. More so, when he realized that the boy's features reminded him of himself.
Or, Dottore brought Lohen back to Snezhnaya, insisting that he was nothing more than another test subject.

"If Todd skipped out on too many family meals, Grayson would be marching over to one of his safe houses and dragging him to the manor. If Brown or Cain was gone on a mission for too long, the family would make time for them to relax and Pennyworth would make their favorite meals to entice them to dinner. If Damian was too far into his head and feeling frustrated they would give him enough space that he didn't feel coddled but also open that door for him and eventually force him out of his own head.
But Drake... He hadn't come to family dinner for three months now, Todd never made it to the two month mark. Drake hasn't come back to the manor after a mission for anything longer than a sitrep and debrief. (Of which Drake consistently lied about and avoided medical attention every night and not once did anyone call him on it). And Drake was always in his own head and no one seemed to bother to pull him out. No one coddled, no open doors, no forcing him to float, just... letting him drown."

Summary
He’d stopped dead in his tracks when he saw it. The glass pedestal that proudly displayed his old uniform, more red than black with yellow in between. His mouth fell open and his feet were glued to the floor. Tim was just another pillar for Batman’s guilt. A figure built up like his parents, any nuance erased until everything left behind was the good he’d seen. And obviously, instead of the love Bruce had found at the core of his devotion to his parents, he’d found something else entirely at the core of Tim.
His fingers brushed past the plaque: A Good Soldier. Internally, he was screaming, crying bloody murder. That was all he’d been to Bruce?
“Hood-“ came Jason’s hesitant voice from behind. Tim whirled around.
“You!“, his eyes focussed on Batman, standing at the very edge of the cave, almost like he wanted to escape. Tim took a few long, confident strides to cross the space until he stood a mere few feet away.
“What the fuck is this, Bruce?-“
