Summary
"Congratulations on taking the first steps of your divinely approved divorce!" said Eonwë, with the blithe good cheer of a person who could absolutely pummel both of them silly and then chuck them back into Mandos one-handed. The Herald of the Valar was not someone to be intimidated by a bad-tempered Elf. "We can now proceed with the next stage!"
"What next stage?" demanded Fingon. "It's over! What else is there to say?"

Fëanor refused the call of Mandos by bunn
Fandom The Silmarillion and other histories of Middle-Earth - J. R. R. Tolkien
09 Mar 2018
Summary
The main story in this series is Quenta Narquelion, which tells the story of how Fëanor, dead, refused the call to Mandos and watched his children endure the First age and the War of Wrath.
However, since that story is from Fëanor's point of view, it doesn't cover all the possible viewpoints, so this series is just to bring together a few other stories that fit within the same universe but are seen through other eyes.
The other stories are not essential to one another or to Quenta Narquelion, and I hope can also stand alone, but I thought some people might find it useful to have them collected together.

Summary
A series of stories about Elrond's return to Aman at the end of the Third Age. All these assume that Maglor son of Fëanor was one of the other unnamed Elves who accompanied Elrond, Galadriel, Gandalf, Frodo and Bilbo on the ship when they left Middle-earth. Point of view is usually either Maglor or Elrond, but occasionally someone else (Celebrian, Lalwen, Nerdanel...)
The first story, And the wind as sweet as honey in the mouth, is about Maglor and Elrond meeting again in the Second Age, rather than in Aman, but fits with the overall series otherwise.
This series is connected with the Mandos series, about the experiences of Feanor, Fingolfin, Fingon, Curufin and Celegorm in the Halls of Mandos, but it can stand alone.
All are welcome to remix, translate or reinterpret these works as they like. They are not my characters!

Summary
Stories about the House of Fëanor, the House of Fingolfin, and Dior and Nimloth in the Halls of Mandos after their deaths.
This series connects with the Return to Aman series about Elrond and Maglor coming back to Valinor after the fall of Sauron, but does not require it.

Summary
These stories are all about the War of Wrath period, but were written at different times with different protagonists, and don't have to be read in any particular order. I'm trying to keep them more or less in chronological order.
My novel-length work Quenta Narquelion covers the Eastern front, the Feanorians and Belegost in some detail, but I have not included it in this series as it is slightly canon-divergent, being narrated by Invisible Ghost Feanor.

Summary
“Come on.” Maedhros grabbed his hand and pulled him along down the path, both of them quickening their pace now, until the trees opened up into a wide meadow filled with flowers, bright yellow celandine and dandelions and sweet-scented pale chamomile mingling with cornflowers and irises. On the other side of it was a larger party than Maglor had ever seen in Lórien—five figures sitting in the grass. Huan barked again, and they all looked up. “It seems everyone has come to fetch us home,” Maedhros said, laughing, as all their brothers scrambled to their feet.
After years in Lórien, Maglor and Maedhros are ready to return to their family and to make something new with their lives--but to move forward, all of Fëanor's sons must decide how, or if, they can ever reconcile with their father.

Seasons of Bree-Land Quartet by Canafinwe (StoplightDelight)
Fandom The Lord of the Rings - J. R. R. Tolkien
28 Mar 2019
Summary
"Yet we would not have it otherwise. If simple folk are free from care and fear, simple they will be, and we must be secret to keep them so."
Aragorn's thoughts about Bree-Land are complex, shaped by a lifetime of familiarity with this little region and its people. A source of aggravation, a symbol of peace, a focal point for his labours: Bree represents the dichotomy of the Rangers' relationship to the lands they guard. In these four encounters, one for each season and one in each town, lessons are learned and long remembered.

Summary
Sherlock is home, he and John are returning to cases, and all's right with the world--right? But a series of minor mishaps and injuries makes two things very clear to his friends and family: first, Sherlock's time away wasn't the grand adventure everyone has assumed it was; and second, that time has left Sherlock with a legacy that's bleeding into his life today. Sherlock is Not Okay, and it's not going away.
EDIT: I have now made this part of a series, since I am going to be doing occasional one-offs in this same universe.
WORKS INSPIRED BY THIS ONE: The lovely Aunt_Didi has begun a podfic of this work--it can be found on both of our dashboards.

Summary
In a fictional modern country where slavery is legal, disgraced British soldier John attracts the attention of Sherlock, a dangerous wealthy man. In Nicobar, there is a huge disparity between the very rich, who sequester themselves in luxurious compounds, and the rest of the population. The setting is modern, but they keep slaves for entertainment and companionship, and there are very few limits on what can be done with those slaves. Sherlock is notorious for his treatment of slaves.

Summary
In which Sherlock Holmes locates his heart, John Watson learns what it's like to burn, and there is no darkness that cannot be made bright.
' "Really, Watson, you excel yourself," said Holmes, pushing back his chair and lighting a cigarette. "I am bound to say that in all the accounts which you have been so good as to give of my own small achievements you have habitually underrated your own abilities. It may be that you are not yourself luminous, but you are a conductor of light. Some people without possessing genius have a remarkable power of stimulating it. I confess, my dear fellow, that I am very much in your debt." ' - Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, "The Hound of the Baskervilles"
