    ‘Sherlock,’ the way James says his name sends shivers down Sherlock’s spine. He unconsciously leans closer, wanting more of his touch; a mix of contradicting feelings reflecting on his face.

    James knows that no matter how much Sherlock wants to be seen otherwise, he is deeply dependent on the people around him. Maybe that’s the reason why he didn’t make any friends before him: the fear of trusting the wrong person led him to isolation which felt far more comfortable than having his heart broken.

    The truth is, James doesn’t want to cause Sherlock any pain. He wants him back, that’s all.

    Sherlock doubts his morality and turns to James for support, but he has his own agenda. Lots of betrayal, broken trust and family drama lead to a dubious relationship development between them.
