Piper is investigating the shady corporation who have been messing with her father. Nico has to show his family that he's a mature adult and needs to be engaged to someone who knows he's gay and doesn't expect anything. Fresh off of a heartbreak from her ex-fiancee Reyna, Piper agrees to the huge diamond ring that Nico slips on her finger. She gets backup from the young son of a powerful family, and he gets a trophy wife he can show off.
Nico wasn't prepare for how persistent Piper's childhood friend and friendly ex, Jason was.
And Piper was even less prepared for Nico's sister, Bianca, to come sweeping into her life and changing things forever.

Shane could deny it – he could try to pretend the man in the audio whimpering for more isn’t him, that it’s a scam, that it was fake or edited. He could get lawyers involved, or take it to the press before anything leaks and control the narrative himself. But he doesn’t know how much more the blackmailer has, and he can’t risk Ilya getting outed or deported or – well, he can’t risk Ilya.
*Shane and Ilya don't get caught at the cottage. But they still get caught.
