Dottore choked on air, he almost fell off of his seat in an attempt to steady himself. ‘Pardon…?’ He croaked out in shock.
Columbina hummed elegantly, watching Pantalone dance with the woman.
‘Why on Teyvat would he marry me—‘ Dottore looked exceedingly flustered, ignoring the flutter in his chest that appeared at the thought.
‘I thought you were in a relationship,’ She spoke as if this was common knowledge, even raising her eyebrow as if Dottore was the one who had gone mad.
‘No— not at all…’ Dottore muttered: mortified. He ran a hand through his hair in an embarrassment.
‘Oh, okay,’ She accepted this response, ‘I was going to suggest kidnapping him until she gives up and finds someone else.’ Columbina flashed him a wide, slightly eerie smile.
Dottore rolled his eyes. ‘I don’t care if they get married,’ He lied.

Zhongli sighs. “It’s not that I do not wish to share the details of my life with a dear friend. But you might wish you hadn’t asked.”
“Try me,” Childe suggests. “Can’t be any weirder than anything else I’ve learned about you.”
Zhongli snorts softly through his nose, taking a sip of tea. “I believe I am undergoing an old ritual, of sorts. Though I am more human now than ever before, I find myself beholden to certain instincts."
“Oh?” Childe shifts upright, interested. “You mean… dragon stuff.”
Zhongli nods, licking his lips and directing his gaze away from Childe. “I believe,” he says again, the faintest tinge of color creeping over his cheeks, “that I am searching for a mate.”
Zhongli has been sleepwalking through the Liyue streets in the dead of night, unresponsive and with eyes aglow. Childe intends to get to the bottom of the situation, but everything changes when Zhongli reveals the likely motive behind his nightly wanderings.
Childe knows he shouldn't fuck Zhongli in his sleep. He really shouldn't. But when has he ever been sensible?

Following the Irminsul incident, though everyone believes him dead, Dottore is very much alive.
Granted, he faces a slight problem: specifically, the fact that he is trapped in the body of an eight-inch lizard.He needs to find a way back to Snezhnaya and his human body, something Pantalone could easily help him with - had he actually bothered to let him in on this plan, too. As it stands, however, he is forced against his will to play the part of an innocent little reptile, all while slowly realizing that his colleague might have held him in much higher regard all along than he ever could have imagined.

He remembered what she looked like when he cut her open at the picnic – the horror so fleeting, how her mouth slanted and froze there, like it intended to slide off her face. She’d thought he was handsome and interesting. He hadn’t cared if she thought he was the ugliest creature Irimsul ever recorded, truthfully. He just wanted to know what it looked like to see someone’s insides, how long it took for them to cool from the unyielding grip of death.
He cared if this stranger thought he was handsome.
“Do you trust me, Veksel?” He asked at last.
And Feofan smiled at him, glitter in those spellbinding eyes. “Not even slightly.”

Suddenly, all action came to a stop as Dottore looked Pantalone in the eyes. Red eyes met violet, and Dottore leaned down pecking Pantalone on the lips and then proceeded to tilt his head like a puppy whose dreams had just been stomped on.
"Love, we’re dating, are we not?" he questioned, red eyes glistening. "You know, I don’t like it when someone touches what’s mine." The hold he had on Pantalone's waist tightened at this.
TDLR; Pantalone is in denial of Dottore loving him. Dottore is possessive and overprotective and thinks they're already dating. Basically that light angst and misunderstandings with a shit ton of fluff fic that no one asked for.
