Day Two: Post-Canon / Jealousy
This is unbelievably childish, and Goro knows it. Akira has his own life, and his own friends, and his own priorities. Just because they're actively fucking now doesn't mean the man owes him anything. It definitely doesn't mean the man owes him monogamy, especially when they're literally not… anything. Friends, maybe.
And friendship is all Goro deserves from him, frankly. Nearly four months of this, and he still hasn't really come to terms with the fact that Akira allows intimacy between them.
So, the fact that he's sitting here, practically steaming out the ears at the idea that Akira is, likely right at this moment, out at a bar chatting up strangers in the hopes of finding someone suitably pleasant who will take him home and treat him like a fucking princess, is… predictable. And stupid. And immature.
If Goro could burn down every bar in this damn metropolis with his mind, he would do it.

Summary
The Phantom Thieves have nearly secured their route through Maruki's Palace. There’s only one section left: The Twilight Corridor. A paradise where everything is perfect, and everyone is always smiling.
In order to enter that place, the Thieves must first prove they've "completed orientation" and can be "happy." There are points, there is a scoreboard, and they’re locked together in an experimental space where wishes can be granted by simply saying them aloud. Everyone has to individually earn 100 happiness points, or no one is leaving.
So what is “happiness,” really? How does Maruki define happiness? What the hell is a quantifiable happiness point? Is there any way around this? Don’t these stupid kids realize this is a trick to get them to fall back into the thrall of Maruki’s reality? And why can’t Goro earn any fucking points?
(Or: I've been watching too much Dropout Game Changer and I’ve built an Akechi torture chamber.)

Just...I don't know. I felt like delving just a bit into Silk's mind when Garion noticed the expression on his face, during this scene. Especially recalling that initially the others hadn't been very cheery to meet Mandorallen.
I really feel for these two guys, and the love that can't be in this series.
