Truthfully, Orpheus knew this was stupid, even for him.
But he really wanted some of those muffins that Siren had brought to their last meeting, and he couldn’t be bothered to change for one measly child.
I mean, the kid in front of him couldn’t have been more than seventeen.
So he watched, waiting for a reaction that never came, and Tommy tilted his head with furrowed brows.
“Are you going to order, or just stare at me until we close?”

Tommy is complacent in his life. He's got a job with people he trusts, a sort-of-brother, and enough money to manage on his own when they age out of the system. He's doing perfectly fine for himself, thank you very much, and he doesn't need the sort of family that this Phil guy keeps trying to offer him.
Or, Tommy heals a villain and has to deal with the consequences of his actions.
Author does not support Wilbur Soot, Dream, Georgenotfound, or Sapnap. Any mentions to them in the story originate from a time before the Wilbur Soot situation was made public and do not reflect my current hatred for them. This is not a safe space for their supporters.

Technoblade had always been a figure of mysterious origin. The self-proclaimed Blood God had seemingly come out of thin air, quickly making a name for himself and gaining fear and respect from every server he'd joined. Over the years, he'd taken down countless tyrannies and razed hundreds of corrupt kingdoms, but no one truly knew where he came from. Only Philza, the Angel of Death, had that answer, though it was something the old man joked that he'd take to his grave.
Thus, the mystery of Technoblade's origin sat, unknown. If anyone actually pressed the question further though (no one did), they'd find that his backstory had never really been a secret. It was just embarrassing and complicated, so he avoided talking about it if he could.
(After all, Terrance Smith, the college student from Minnesota, was kind of a lame origin for the infamous Blood God…)

Tommy punches the door with both of his hands, almost throwing a tantrum against the bark. He utters the forbidden words- “Help! Help, help! Someone- anyone- please, help me!”
His head is spinning, and his vision is swimming. The edge of his gaze is black and blurry and the last thing he sees before he succumbs to the darkness is a large man wrapping crooked, tattered wings and strong arms around him as he scoops him up from the porch.
Or, in a hybrid-dominated world, winged Tommy runs from Exile and asks for help from Sam, a human man with too many secrets (and way too much knowledge on avians).

Fortunately, people normally don't have to wonder about that situation. Unfortunately, that is not the case for Wilbur Soot-Craft. He was in that exact situation.
And he no idea what to do.
Or: Cryptid bench trio were created in a lab, after an escape they meet 3/4 SBI. And slowly move towards a better ending than what the three originally planed. Although, there are some mishaps along the way.

It could be dead already. He thought.
Maybe it’s too late and he can’t save it.
But Technoblade could hear it, the beating heart. It was beating so fast and so loud, trying his best to not stop. Dragons' eggs didn’t last so long in the wild, they needed a warm place and someone to watch over them. They were fragile and if not watched closely, they would die. He had to make something and quickly.

Summary
It had not mattered that he was merely eight years old when they sat him upon a throne nearly twice his size and deemed him their new King.
What had mattered in the end was that the young King had led his nation to utter ruin, had stood by and watched as his citizens pounded bloody fists against the stone walls of his castle with pleas for salvation that he could not bring them.
Tommy hadn't expected to open his eyes after feeling the pointed tip of a blade pierce through his chest, bringing an end to the reign of a tyrant. Had accepted his fate the moment the leader of the rebellion entered through those towering wooden doors with the sole purpose of killing a King that had failed his people.
Yet Tommy finds himself waking on the day they placed a jeweled crown upon his head and deemed him their King at the mere age of eight, traveling six year into the past with a burning determination not to be used as a puppet once more. His first step though is winning over the heart of the man that he thought of as family, the very person who pushed a blade through his chest with tears stinging his eyes.
