Rhaenyra clears her throat and tries to dispel the tension in the room. “So... you are a woman now, huh?” She teases, her gaze raking up and down Alicent’s body. Gods, she’s gorgeous. Rhaenyra is not surprised, really—she can’t imagine a version of Alicent who isn’t gorgeous—but she’s struck by how well she has aged.
Alicent blushes under her gaze, a ridiculously endearing sight that resolutely should not make Rhaenyra’s heart race. “Yes,” she replies dumbly, and then she is silent for a long moment while she studies her. Rhaenyra can practically see her thoughts whirling before she blurts out, “And you... you are still a girl.”
(Or; where young Rhaenyra meets a much older and wiser dowager Queen Alicent and completely falls.)
