Summary
Richie Tozier is young, handsome, and kind. A twenty-three-year-old man with these characteristics should know, and have the gift, of experiencing pure passion. To marry, start a family, care for and be cared for. However, he knows little about the sharp feeling that is love, nor does he know how he will react when he encounters it. It is when flowers begin to grow in his lungs, heading towards his heart, that Richie discovers he may have already contracted the severe illness that causes his vital organ to beat erratically.

Eddie's fist hits the door once, twice, three times. There’s a brief pause, then footsteps. The sound of a movie continuing to play. And then, finally, the door opens.
Richie looks different than he did at lunch. Less angry, calmer. He changed his clothes, too.
“What the hell do you want?”
Eddie shifts uncomfortably. “To talk.”
“About?”
“About the fact that you punched me in the fucking face, asshole.”
