Summary
Simon wakes up immediately after being "killed" in a strange, white hallway. He remembers most of what happened to him, but some things are still appearing in bursts- things he would rather forget. Disoriented and in pain, with no way of knowing where he is or how he's there or why, he's forced to navigate the new space alone. Or, not completely alone, though he might as well be. After all, the only other person near him is in a coma, and will continue to be for who knows how long.
Or; Simon wakes up aboard the Hail Mary while Grace is still in his coma.

so, so good!! this was the fic i was looking for when i started reading bloodymary. no other bloodymary fic has had me so absorbed and intrigued in so few words. i think the added worldbuilding was so amazingly done! i could understand this new world and its rules well without being outright told how its different from cannon. if this author wants to write more, i am eagerly awaiting what is to come!!
