Summary
Anakin defeats Obi-Wan on Mustafar and saves Padmé from death with Palpatine's help. Their relationship quickly becomes strained as Padmé turns further away from Anakin the more entrenched with the dark side he becomes, causing her to exile herself to her homeworld. For many years, she keeps her distance from Anakin, who eventually kills Palpatine and becomes Emperor himself.
