“This is where everything began.” She tells him, and he looks away from the flame, and over to her. “If we put out this flame, Solaris will never exist, and we’ll never have to worry about the Flames of Disaster, right?”
He wants to agree.
(It can't be that simple.)

Summary
The lighting of the Soleanna Christmas Tree comes once a year, and this year, Princess Elise III has been given the honour of switching the lights on. Unfortunately, Dr. Eggman decides to show up, and he has other plans. On the bright side, Elise gets to meet a blue hedgehog that she has been having visions of recently - maybe, just maybe, he can provide her with some answers...
It's my own sort of 'sequel' to the story of Sonic '06. It is set in the universe where Solaris never existed, after Elise blew out the flame. WARNING: May contain MxM and FxM relationships later, as well as Sonic x Elise. Don't like don't read.

May 5: First encounter - Amy's on her way to bust Sonic out of prison in SA2, but gets lost down in the creepy basement levels of the GUN base and then finds a stasis pod with a human girl in it.
May 6: Flowers/Gift - Sticks likes shiny stuff and she knows what stuff Amy likes, and everybody knows that giving pretty things to someone you like means you want to date them, so let's go!
May 7: Robotization/Hurt/Comfort - ShtH Mad Matrix: after they're finished finding the data, Espio catches Shadow just as he's leaving, mired in doubt about his own creation.
May 8: Past/Seasons - Elise is on diplomatic visit to the UF in spring, she and Sonic manage to sneak away for some time together.
