Summary
Gabriel runs a nightclub where the price of entry is that he may take a liking to you, and drain you dry. Jack just wants a night out. They come to a mutually beneficial arrangement.
"Eventually, Gabriel can’t resist any longer, and calls Jack over to him, putting just a touch of a compulsion around the words. Jack shivers in place, tilting his head back to bare his neck, then walks over to drop to his knees between Gabriel’s thighs. Brazen thing. So beautiful, staring up at Gabriel with eyes that are already half lidded with pleasure, and smelling so unbearably, unbearably good. Jack slowly turns his head to show Gabriel his neck, his lips turned up into a grin, not breaking eye contact for a moment, and that’s an invitation if Gabriel’s ever seen one."

One or two of their more dramatic missions, as well as the rare times they could find to be alone. Their first date. Things like that. I try to make it as potentially canon-believable as possible.
It'll probably be more enjoyable if you read the first part of the series beforehand, but the context clues are likely good enough.

Summary
Gabriel and Jack are offered a place in SEP, and they accept. With a month off before the program begins, they decide to show each other their respective hometowns. Things get rough, but they learn a lot about each other in the process and become even closer than before. Jack's childhood didn't quite match his sunny disposition, and Gabriel reveals a few demons of his own from the past. Even so, the positive experiences far outweigh the negatives.

It sounded simple like that. I fell. As though it had been a matter of stepping off a dock. As though the repercussions hadn’t rocked Heaven, Hell and the realms in between.
The legendary Archangel Gabriel fell from grace thanks to a common incubus. Jack wasn’t even demon aristocracy.
And the dumb part was that Jack hadn’t been trying to seduce Gabriel. Not in the beginning anyway.

Summary
Jack couldn’t remember exactly when he’d instructed Athena to stop observing his and Gabriel’s meetings. If you could call them meetings. Gabriel would barge into Jack’s office, spitting acid about some limitation on Blackwatch’s resources and Jack would fail to keep his cool, deride some shady tactic Blackwatch used on a mission they weren’t even supposed to go on. Gabriel would yell about necessity and Jack would yell about consequences. They’d both be snarling into each other’s faces, voices loud, blood spiking hot, violence pushing up against their skin.
By the time Gabriel stalked out, they’d have solved nothing. Jack’s pulse would be pounding and the back of his shirt would be damp with sweat. It was, Jack loathed to admit, the only thing that elevated his heartrate these days.

The smell of jasmine kicks loose a memory — Gabriel, a lifetime ago, going into rut. Having to leave a meeting early because his hormones had no intention of politely waiting and he couldn’t trust himself around people in that state. The memory of that same oppressive scent curling thick in the air, though Jack hadn’t known what it meant then.

He, coming from the East, had expected to find the beast much further along his way, with this town being little more than a rest for the night. Yet, the creature and him had bumped into each other. By coincidence, or by design.

Gabriel checks his emails, this time. Knows it’s supposed to be Jesse coming.
Supposed to be, but something in him still unwinds when he opens the door to find him standing there, his torn jeans and old cowboy hat a welcome sight.
“Jesse,” Gabriel breathes, and Jesse grins, and tips the brim of his hat.
“Hey there Mr. Reyes,” he says, sliding past Gabriel and into the house. “Hey there sunshine,” he adds, taking the hat off entirely and giving Jack a wave with it. “Sorry ‘bout last week, had to get some things in order after… well, you know.”
Jesse looks at Gabriel and winks. It shouldn’t be endearing. Shouldn’t be attractive, but Gabriel feels warmth surging in him that has nothing to do with hunger.
Nothing to do with hunger for blood, anyway.
