Summary
It's morning in Hawkins, Indiana. The sun is shining through Mike Wheeler's window. It's a beautiful day. He's suddenly motivated to get up and get ready. He dresses in a blue shirt he didn't remember having and some black pants. He looks... ok? He goes down for breakfast. All his family is there. His mom is smiling and perfectly put together. Holly is drawing. She's drawing a lot lately. His dad's watching TV as usual, but Mike can't recognise the program at all. It looks kind of faded, actually. Must be the lighting. The sun keeps shining through the windows. It has never been this sunny in Indiana.
This is a rewrite on the finale, it's what I think would have happened if Mike was possessed and had to get out of it while going through his memories, like Max did.
