He looks up, and it’s Sokka, unmistakably. He has the same tan skin and wide blue eyes, a nose bridge dotted with more freckles than he used to have, and a little gap in between his two front teeth. His eyebrows are pressed together as he looks back at Zuko

“Yeah,” Kuroo says, grimacing. “It’s not the best.” He rubs his eyes with his hands. “It’s fine. No more talking about labs. I’m here with you,” he says, grinning. Kenma smiles, bigger than he means to, and looks at the ground instead.

It was so dark when Bucky handed him the note, the fire just burning out, and he glanced back only once to see Steve watching him as he walked away.
