Two months after the final battle with Belos, life has returned to some semblance of normal. As one of the former coven heads helping to lead reconstruction efforts, Raine does their best to make sure everyone else is coping with their new realities. They've all been through some horrible things after all.
So what if they're having reoccurring nightmares, flashbacks, and everything seems to remind them of what they've been through? They're fine. Other people need help more.

It's been a while since Raine moved in with Eda. Over a year has passed and, even though it brought some trials and tribulations, it was, overall, a year of bliss for the two witches.
And now, the night has come. A night on which the bard will pop a very important question for the Owl Lady. They have a plan, they have their nerves, they have all they need.
But still, not everything goes perfectly as planned...Part of the series, but you can read it on it's own.

“Something on your mind?”
They looked at Eda. Her eyes were still fixed on the road, but a small crease was forming in her forehead. Raine shrugged, “I’m fine, just…”
“Just what?” Eda prompted, and Raine could hear the concern and nervousness in her voice. Neither of us know what we’re doing.
“Don’t worry about it,” Raine smiled, trying to sound soothing but it didn’t ease the tension in Eda’s shoulders. They laid a hand on her arm, “Really. All of this has just been…a lot. You know I’m a worrier.”
Eda’s lips quirked, and she huffed a laugh, “Yeah. you are,” she breathed out, “We’ll be fine. Everything will be fine.”
Raine nodded, “I know. I trust you, Eda.”

Eda and Raine, stumbling haphazardly into her nest, each wrinkle on the other's face a testament to how late it was for both of them. Eda, awake at noon, alone.
