Leona coughs, his chai splattering all over the table and his side of the floor. “You must be fuckin’ kidding me,” he responds as Minajael hands him a towel. “You want to— what in the fuck— run away from your problems?”
Minajael is tired of life catching up to him. He's decided to run away with his greatest foreign opponent; and maybe score his heart in the process.

He pretends not to notice the distance, pretends it does not bruise him— because it is easier to be a prince than it is to be a person who wants to be addressed plainly, without his past overshadowing him wherever he goes.

Naturally, since he was still his servant and aide, Jamil was the one being harassed about it the most by the Vipers and the al-Asims, even though he, frankly, did not give a shit.
Kalim was not dead. That was enough for him.
But that was only on the outside— Jamil knew exactly what was wrong with Kalim. After all, he was the cause of it.

Springtime in Sage Island was beautiful, and absolutely unique. Fruiting trees from various parts of the world littered the horizon of the sky as the sun and moon rose, and classes were also quieter and scheduled at odd times, given that many professors and students were allergic to pollen.
However, for beastmen, the situation was quite different.
Springtime was mating season , and that brought a completely different set of issues to Savanaclaw, the pollen allergy aside.
