Summary
Katsuki had a problem. A problem in the form of the adorable, badass, selfless, selfish, kind, hot-as-fuck green haired nerd he’d known since they were both brats in hero-themed diapers (side note – the fuck kind of merch is diapers? Katsuki was going to confront All Might about that at some point. Weird as shit).
This adorable problem happened to be called Deku, and he also happened to be more oblivious than a squirrel running into oncoming traffic.

"Don't leave," he begs. "Izuku please you can't—”
"Okay," Izuku says, mind going a mile a minute. "Okay, okay, I won't. I'm not leaving, I promise."
He knows what this means, but he's having a hard time wrapping his head around it.
"I promise," he says again, as the undeniable truth sits clear before his eyes. The thing that scared Katsuki the most was losing him.

Mina jumped forward before Kirishima could grab her. “Bakugou! Just the person I need!”
“What the hell does that mean, Racoon Eyes?”
“We were talking about our dating lives and it made me realize, we’ve never talked about yours.” She pointed at him. “Why aren’t you in the dating scene, Mr. Dynamight?”
Kirishima took a deep breath and waited, waiting for the bomb to go off, the yelling to start, the moment where he’d need to save Mina from the slaughter. A moment passed and then, Bakugou sneered.
“I am, you nosey-fuckers just never asked.”
Silence.
Kirishima felt like his world tilted. He might need to reboot his brain and ask Bakugou what he said again because he couldn’t have possibly heard that correctly.
“What?!”
