He was going to die here. He was going to die here and no one else was even going to remember his name. He didn’t even know if the Ava he was talking to was Ava at all, for all he knew he gave his fucking name to the monster outside.
“My name is Simon.” He whispered, blood sloshing around his ankles. “My name is Simon and I just want to live.”
He took a deep breath. The black box was affixed to the life jacket, it was already floating in the blood that reached his knees. If he could get the submarine open, it would float to the top and everyone else would have answers.
“My name is Simon and I just want to live.”
There was no rescue crew coming. No way to get out. He had one option, and if he was going to die he was going to take that fucking fish out with him
