Summary
After the Ashford Tourney, Aerion Targaryen bears the scars that Ser Duncan left upon him. Oftentimes, his fingers flit to those scars and much to his irritation, he cannot stop thinking about the hedge knight either.
In a twist of fate, Aerion meets his scar-giver again when his wagon party is attacked by bandits on the road to the Free Cities.
After saving the Targaryen Prince, Dunk finds himself tested, provoked and pushed in ways he cannot quite understand. Aerion believes him to be nothing but a brute and Dunk wishes to show him otherwise.
However, proving him wrong might lead Dunk to encounter something far more intimate than he’d ever intended.

Summary
It has been two years since Dyanna Dayne passed away.
Aerion Targaryen, who was his mother’s favorite—her little dragon as she used to call him—hasn’t been able to move on, and since his mother’s death has only retreated further into himself. In order to feel closer to her, he keeps her old journal, full of notes and memories of them together.
Maekar places Aerion in an arranged marriage with his brother Rhaegel’s daughter, Daenora, insisting that Aerion must become ‘a man with responsibilities’ now that his mother is gone.
But, to Aerion, this is a fate worse than death. So the same night, he goes into the streets of King’s Landing in search of the perfect cover up. Who he finds is a tall and awkward hedge knight who seems to be perfect for the job.
The job being Pretending To Be Aerion Targaryen’s Fake Lover.
Or: Aerion pays Ser Duncan the Tall to pretend to be his lover, and through the forced closeness that comes with it Aerion feels something he hasn’t felt since his mother died.

If they truly are hiding that he is an omega then they are doing an admirable job of it. Especially considering the scent of him that had had Dunk fighting hard not to bristle.
