When Ilya raises his head, he's pouting at him again. Shane can't believe this man is the same surgeon who regularly performs nose jobs and penile enlargements and breast reductions. He literally looks like a moody teenager right now. "It's not a big deal, Hollander! I swear, we just go to one dinner, we talk to her, that's it!"
Shane raises an eyebrow. "'That's it'? Ilya, you were trying to convince me to pretend to be your husband, who is about to divorce you, just so you could save face in front of your latest conquest and explain why she found a ring in your pocket."
OR
Ilya asks Shane to pretend to be his soon-to-be-ex-husband so he can get a girlfriend. Yeah, they fall in love instead.

Officer Meng nods at him. Tang Yi feels him brush his cheek with his thumb before he retracts his arm. He looks at the red truck across the street that managed to hit a post. “That idiot fucking ran a red light. Thank goodness I managed to swerve and we didn’t collide with him. Stay here for a while, okay?”
Tang Yi can only nod since he’s still feeling adrenaline in his veins.

An Unrestricted Free Agent, or UFA for short, is a player of a certain tenure whose contract has ended and can sign with any team of their choosing. If it were anyone else, a player walking to his UFA day would strike fear into the fans and managers hearts. They could lose a player for nothing.
On the morning of July 1, 2019, with Shane Hollander set to test free agency, the Montreal Metros and their fanbase aren't worried. It's well documented that Shane Hollander has always held out for the best deal, and being a free agent is his leverage. Everyone knows that he’ll sign another deal with the Metros.
But maybe everyone is wrong.
