Inspired by the fate of the first and last Storm Queen, she proposes a creative way to save Rhaenyra by installing Aemond as her King Consort. Aemond gets to reign, Otto gets to rule, Aegon gets to relax, Ser Criston gets revenge, and Alicent gets Rhaenyra. Everyone gets what they want. Every one of the Greens, that is.
Rhaenyra is the key to the Seven Kingdoms, and the Hightowers hold her in their hands. More importantly, they hold the mother of seven children. And while Daemon is a formidable commander, he's also a terrible parent.

explore a lot of themes around consent/what constitutes non-con in a historical context. In a lot of ways Rhaenyra's privilege likens her to a modern-day woman thrust into the past There's obviously a spectre hanging over the story that I plan to use to examine Alicent's relationship with Viserys and Rhaenyra's perspective on it. Like my main question is... damn, what was Argella Durrandon's life like after the Conquest? Definitely don't sign on if that's not for you.
- The "Black Widow" title refers to killing one's own mate (like R's reputation because of Laenor). Daemon does not die.
- Rhaenyra will still have the miscarriage and Luke will die the same way he did in the finale -
