Summary
How does one navigate choosing between familial and romantic love?
Pilar doesn't like how easy it seemed for Felix to choose her family's feelings over hers; Felix doesn't like that he made her feel second best when he wanted to keep the Salazar's safety and support in his life. They try to come to peace with their decisions to keep both kinds of love separate, which seems easy on paper.
However, as time goes on, it proves to be quite difficult. Lingering looks and late night talks lead to yearning hearts.

Overall, she’s had a wonderful experience so far; full of light, learning, and friendship. Katara is positive she wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world, especially because of how it brought Aang into her life. But still—
She whirls, too fast, and a gate catches the curve of her shoulder blade. Katara trips over her own foot, crying out in pain, and falls off of the platform, landing solidly onto her back with an oomph!
“Ow,” she whines, unwittingly, as Aang dashes to her in a panic.
It’d be nice to be good at this— actual airbending.
