Summary
When Max is sent away for a month for advanced out of state hospital treatment, Lucas is left with way too much time and way too many feelings. So when he notices the unresolved tension simmering between Will and Mike, he decides to do something about it. But before he can even process what that truly entails, he’s already knee deep in secrets, feelings, and “friendships” that are a lot more complicated than he signed up for.
OR: What starts as a distraction from missing Max turns into the most complicated plan of Lucas’s life as he shifts from helping Will get over Mike to setting them up together (because he’s the bestest, most supportive friend ever, obviously!)

Summary
After Mike leaves Hawkins without telling anyone other than Nancy, Will tries his best to find his location, obsessing over him while he does so. The two end up finding each other again in Chicago, but this time, Mike has a guy glued to his side, also shares the same features Will does: Brown, shaggy hair, and green eyes. Will doesn't care about the guy; he could could zero fucks about him. All he does know is that he needs Mike, and he needs his "boyfriend" dead.

“Snooping, Mike?” Will let out as he stocked the fridge full of his vitamin waters and other healthy necessities. Mike never remembered him caring about his body, but he knows he sure did.
“Oh, no… I-“ Mike uttered, “I was just fixing it. Falling, uh… it was falling.”
A laugh snuck behind Will’s throat, eventually escaping. The sun from the window above the sink cuddled closely with his Brunette hair and gracefully made its way to Mike’s cold eyes.
Will was the sun, so much that Helios would go as far as to envy a mortal.
“Yeah, Mike, I’m sure.” Will walked over to where Mike was kneeling, standing over him. It wasn’t intimidating… no, it was calming.
The curtains from the kitchen window flapped against the white stone around it. For a second, they sat there. Mike desperately wanted to lock his eyes onto one singular part of Will, but he couldn’t. Every inch of him was radiating in a way he had never seen before. At that moment, he wasn’t real. Nothing was real.
