A couple years past twenty and Kaiser found him. A boy so beautiful and perfect and goddamn annoying on the field he wants to tear his own heart out and throw it across the room. And Kaiser knows that whatever happens, whatever he’s been searching for for as long as he can remember—Isagi is it.
He craves and itches for Isagi’s touch nearly every second of every day, to hug him a few minutes longer and tell him how beautiful he is until he’s sick of hearing it. Though if he tried, the words wouldn’t come out nearly as eloquent. So he waits. And that’s okay, because they have all the time in the world.

Summary
Isagi can’t help but stare at the blond-haired, tattooed employee working the register at Bastard Munchin’ Pizza. Black inked rose vines cascade down the man’s extended arm as he slams the phone back into its holder, and those eyes shine with Isagi’s favorite hue of blue, so when his friends decide what they want to get, of course Isagi offers to go up and order for the group.
He makes a fatal mistake when he asks for a soda cup.
The employee punches the request into the system. “Would you like Coke or Pepsi?”
“Pepsi,” Isagi says.
The guy looks at him like Isagi has just murdered his whole bloodline and then set the pizzeria on fire. Like by ordering Pepsi and not Coca Cola, Isagi has just insulted every deity of every religion. Like there is no blasphemy worse than ordering a Pepsi to quench his thirst in this establishment.
“Sit down.”

TLDR: Isagi tries multiple times to get the hot pizza shop employee’s phone number but keeps getting cockblocked by Pepsi.

In a truly tragic turn of events that leaves him wondering if he’s somehow angered the Goddess of Luck, Isagi Yoichi becomes the unwilling owner of one Michael Kaiser plushie. Better uses of the stuffed doll include tennis ball replacement, chew toy, or fireplace fuel, which is exactly why Isagi finds himself... with a new embarrassing hobby?
At the same time, the real Kaiser can't help but notice the way Yoichi barely reacts to his teasing anymore, too busy smiling at something on his damn phone. He can't seem to figure out why Yoichi hasn't been acting himself lately—or why it's pissing him off so much.

The teammates perked up. “Yes! Let Noa hear it too!”
“I cared too much about football. Too much. I cared it too much to notice everything else… But what will I have left, if football is taken away from me?”
“Hear, hear!”
“So I made a wishlist.” Ego produced that little locked notebook again and cleared his throat theatrically. “‘Perform magic at a high-end nightclub,’ ‘Buy a handsome sports car,’ ‘Produce stunning art that speaks to one’s heart,’ ‘Explore Paris and kiss my love by the Seine’… All pretty tasteful pursuits, aren’t they?”
“Ooh! Very tasteful!”
“Noel,” Ego declared, “I’m gonna quit being a football fanatic, and live like a normal person from now on!”
