Jinx.
He wonders what it says about him that the one who completes him isn’t Powder. Hunched over on the cold wood of his bedroom floor, Ekko clutches desperately at his wrist and stares blearily at the dark words marring his forearm. A wave of despair hits him the moment he realizes that even the fates know Powder is well and truly gone.

Summary
it's easier to list the things tyler galpin likes than the things he hates, because tyler hates near everything around him, and like most people in the town of jericho nevermore was a top contender on the list.
the only thing he loathes more than nevermore and the outcasts that come with it is his father, so when he wards tyler off from the newest nevermore student wednesday addams the enemy of his enemy is his new object of affection.
it's the perfect plan, kill two birds with one stone, piss his dad off and inevitably break some poor outcasts heart. two of the few things he actually likes.
