Summary
A few years ago, the rich and royal in the Thirty Kingdoms began trapping dragons to guard their children from harm. Adrien is one of those children and has lived in a tower with only his dragon, Plagg, for those few years.
The rich and royal should probably have paid more attention to how the dragons feel about this situation.

Summary
After Hero's Day, Ladybug and Chat Noir had mostly gone back to their routines. That's their plan after Miracle Queen, too.
It doesn't work for very long. It doesn't work for much longer than about half a day.
It feels like they can barely finish one fight before the next one's already on them, and they don't have any allies anymore. Hawkmoth knows he has an advantage now and he's pressing it as hard as he can.
But Ladybug and Chat Noir do still have the same solid foundation they've always had, one that Hawkmoth's never truly succeeded at taking away from them.
They still have each other, and with each other they're willing to face the whole world.

Summary
Marinette finds Adrien lounging in the crow’s nest, sprawling in a strip of sunlight in a way that absolutely cannot be safe. Plagg’s ears are just barely visible in the hood of Adrien’s Kitty Section jacket- ever since Luka had given him that jacket, Marinette hasn’t seen a trace of his old overshirt, so she’s glad Plagg’s made himself so comfortable so quickly.
She only hesitates a moment before she joins them.
“Hey,” Adrien greets her drowsily, not bothering to get up. Or move. “Anyone figure out where Rose and Juleka got to?“

Summary
A giggle bursts out of her as Adrien runs past and throws himself onto the hotel bed, squirming around to grin up at her with half his hair stuck to the side of his head. “I win.”
“We weren’t competing,” Marinette tells him, setting down both their bags. To her surprise, Adrien travels a lot lighter than the rest of them do, like he can’t quite figure out what he’s supposed to bring with.
Or like he’d spent more than one night planning around needing to leave in a hurry, but Marinette doesn’t think that she should bring that up. She can’t tell him why she’d have thought of it, anyway.
Adrien blows some of his hair out of his face. He’d quit using any hair products immediately after they’d left Paris, and she thinks he’s trying to let his hair grow out, too. “I was competing. And I won.“
