K/DA has changed so much about her work schedule, but she still ends every day walking through empty space to fall into a bed that still hasn’t gotten comfortable. As predicted, when Ahri opens the front door to her apartment and is greeted with nothing but the same empty space, the high she had felt in the karaoke bar fades. She misses Akali’s enthusiastic words of support, Evelynn’s snide remarks, and Kai’Sa’s smile.
She wishes she could go home to them after a long work day, not this.

She could move her hand, that way they’d never touch, and maybe the pull would go away. But Adora doesn’t move. Maybe Catra feels the pull too.
