Summary
When Dennis shows up outside Robby and Jack’s house the next night, it’s against his will. Never mind that it had been his feet that had carried him here, that it had been he who had made up his mind and started the short journey to their neighborhood. His body appears to have betrayed him. Jack isn’t working tonight, has the next two nights off, actually, so Dennis knows they’ll both be here. Robby had left the hospital before Dennis had. There’s really no hope of backing out of this.

“How would you react? If I reached towards you, what would have happened?”
"I... don't know."
A minor tumble to the ground turns out to be Jack hiding symptoms of appendicitis. Of course he reaches for Robby. It's only natural. Dennis tells himself it's only natural.

“I was trying to make breakfast.”
Jack takes one step into the kitchen, hands on his hip as he continues to blink in disbelief. “Why?”
“I wanted to do something nice.” Dennis replies, meagre. “Start the day well. For you and Robby.”
“Well, that went well.” Jack scoffs, not even looking at Dennis.
Dennis curls into himself even more. “I’m sorry.”
“Whatever, just leave it to us next time kid.”-
Or sleep deprived Jack tells Dennis off, Robby doesn't help, but they get their shit together eventually

Summary
With a creak, the door opens slightly, and Klavier pops his head through the gap. “Hi there,” he quietly greets, scanning Apollo and the rest of the cubicle. He has a deep wrinkle between his eyebrows, closer to his right than his left. Apollo doesn’t get to see this very often, so it must be a special occasion.
Right now, Apollo Justice is the only one in the world who knows Klavier Gavin.

Summary
Lirin had been preparing for this moment for days. Ever since Kaladin had sent a message that he would come home with the next highstorm, his mind had been full of the same few questions on loop. We were told you were dead. How are you alive, what happened to you? You were dead. But seeing his son step through the front door for the first time since that terrible afternoon years ago when Roshone had torn their family apart—instead of asking his questions, it was all he could do to hold back tears.
---
A look at Lirin and Hesina welcoming their son home for the first time after they find out he's actually been alive this whole time. Prompt fill for the Tales of Urithiru event!
