If that were true, why had the flowers died when she'd put his body next to them? What did his death bring forth? Loneliness?

That was the question that was asked every night. Although it had been... strange in the beginning, the elven warden was slowly growing used to their new routine. Day after day of fighting darkspawn was draining, certainly more draining than what he was used to doing in the Alienage. But it was worth it for this. The moments of solitude with the Antivan elf, where neither of them could quite deny the spark between them.
So it was shocking, to say the least, when the assassin answered with: "No, I.. no. I mean no offense, I simply.. no."
