“… You want me to? Right now?” Mizi asks softly, trying to mask all the uncertainties welling up inside her. She’s afraid of hurting Sua again. Afraid of making another mistake.
Or: after they are saved by the rebellion, a clingy desperate Sua longs for an equally clingy desperate Mizi. Neither of them know how to handle it.

Mizi leans closer, cupping Sua’s cheeks in her hands, marveling at the warmth she feels under her fingers. Once, she had thought she would never feel any warmth ever again, thought she had lost this forever. Unconsciously, Mizi’s pinkies trace Sua’s cheekbones, then drift downwards, resting against the still rough patch of scar tissue on the side of Sua’s neck.
Sua’s breath hitches under her fingers, and Mizi can see her eyes dampen, little tears caught in her eyelashes. “Three years.”
Three years. As if Mizi could ever forget.

Summary
Often, Sua suspects that aliens consider her no different from one of the dolls bearing her appearance that her mother releases every once in a while. All smooth limbs and flexible joints. Lacking any curves or complications. Hard and plain underneath the suggestive fabric, unable to feel or fulfill any carnal need, although surely, the aliens must find a way.
But the stiff plastic tongues of the dolls cannot lap someone else's saliva as Sua's tongue is doing, sucking on the sticky nectar coating Mizi's gums. Their flat chests, permanently fused with the white frills of the miniature dresses they are wearing, cannot perk up when squeezed by the hand of another girl. Most importantly, the place between their legs, lacking the outline of genitals, devoid of any desperation or craving, cannot grow squeamishly wet as Sua feels herself do, with every stroke of Mizi's tongue.
(Or: Sua turns 21. She and Mizi do their best to celebrate this passage of time.)

Summary
Gradually, the sweet scent of lilies fills the room. Sua can hear a pop of plastic as Mizi squeezes the shampoo bottle. Through black fringes, she sees Mizi pour the liquid between her fingers, lathering thoroughly before starting to rub it in between the partitions of Sua's hair.
Sua herself enjoys the smell slowly spreading over her scalp. Lilies are rather unassuming flowers. Large, but delicate. Most suitable to be gifted for planned special occasions, such as birthdays or anniversaries, rather than impromptu lavish displays of love. Sua, who has never quite felt as pompous as a rose, finds that such convenient and purposeful blooms suit her.
(Or: Mizi washes Sua's hair. Many other things, such as shame, wash away into the drain.)

“I need you,” Mizi says, voice cracking slightly, finger slipping under Sua's bra, brushing against Sua’s chest, circling her nipple. “And I think you need me just a badly.”
To prove her point, she tweaks the nipple, and a low whine escapes Sua’s mouth. It’s not like they hadn’t talked about this before, at home in the afterglow, a hypothetical fantasy mumbled against Mizi’s neck as her wife twisted in her hands through Sua’s hair. Here, before her, risk and all, it’s tantalizing, despite the threat of exposure. Sua understands in that moment more than ever before why Eve bit down on the apple.
“I locked the door,” Mizi promises.
