Summary
All Ilya Rozanov wants is to play hockey. That is his dream. He especially wants to play hockey against the (second) best rookie in the league: Shane Hollander. From the time they play against each other at the World Juniors, it seems that they are destined for a rivalry that will set the NHL on fire. But their rivalry gets put on hold when Ilya is prevented from starting in the NHL after he's drafted.
What begins as a struggle to escape Russia sets off a different dynamic between the two of them — rivals on the ice, but reluctant friends off of it. As moderate division rivals with a close geographical rivalry, their teams play each other almost seven times a season, and neither one of them can resist the pull towards each other that started all the way back in Juniors. But there's only so long they can maintain covert meetings in dark hotel rooms and pretend to not be friends once their casual hookups blossom into more than mutual release, and they have to decide if what they've found together is worth the risk.

Summary
To say Michael is having difficulty adjusting to this new life is a gross understatement. Blood positively sings to him. He barely resists its siren call, a thick, warm pulse in his ears that sends hunger gnawing in the pit of his stomach. He nearly bit that policeman near the safehouse, and only the shock of his reflection kept him from ripping that man apart and draining him dry.
Michael and Selene make their way from William’s prison back to Tanis’ monastery in order to gather his collection of books. Summary
As if he could ever forget Barbados. The circumstances necessitated a very specific type of cover—the only time Napoleon and Illya had been asked to fake being in a romantic relationship. It had come near the end of UNCLE’s run, which was probably a good thing, even though ultimately it hadn’t actually required much of them. A few casual yet affectionate touches in public, standing close together, some lingering looks. Not that different than how they usually behaved around each other, which, no, he wasn’t going to think too hard about. It had been easy to fall into that mindset, and Napoleon had worried that his careful mask had slipped enough for Illya to glimpse the too-real feelings beneath.
But then, not even a month later, UNCLE had disbanded and it was a moot point. He was never going to see Illya again. Except now he’s staring up at his former partner, being asked to pretend he’s in love again.
(Ten years after UNCLE was disbanded, Illya asks Napoleon with help with a mission that will test their partnership and blur the lines between what is a cover and what's real.)
